| 6 Year old Child Prodigy Performing at the Britto Art Gallery Ethan Bortnick will be performing Jazz, Classical Music, Folk Songs and at least one of his own compositions. Ethan will perform on a Steinway Piano that was painted by the famous Artist Romero Britto. The Britto showroom is located on the Famous Lincoln Road in Miami Beach Florida. This performance will take place on March 25, 2007. Ethan Bortnick was born December 24, 2000. He started reading at the age of two and speaks Russian and English. At age four he began studying with Mila Vaserstein. Ethan plays Jazz, Classics, Children's Music, Folk Songs and Much more. He is an incredible artist, composer, performer, and a sweet little boy. Ethan memorized almost 200 songs and plays both by ear and by reading the music. Ethan has "perfect" pitch, where he can repeat any note or sets of notes that are played on the piano by ear. He regularly performs at various events and continues to inspire kids and adults everywhere. Notable performances include various public events such as, Bank Atlantic Center, Ritz Carlton – West Palm Beach for Kids in Distress, Parenting Magazine Events, "First Fridays" at the Piano Music Center, Jazz Festival in Steinway Miami, Jazz Festival in Palm Beach, CBS 4 News, and the CBS Early Show to name just a few. Ethan is able to perform 45 Minute Solo concerts and has performed these concerts in front of both large (Over 1, 000 people) and small audiences. The young pianist received a perfect score at the National Piano Playing Auditions, American College of Musicians, received superior ratings in various categories at the NFMC, and has won numerous awards (too many to mention)! Recently Ethan won 1st Place in the Pompano Beach Piano Competition he received first place after the judges heard dozens of pianists aged 6-16. He was the youngest 1st place winner. Ethan recently filmed a national TV infomercial for a "Roll-out-Piano" that will air at the end of this year. Ethan is currently studying with Mila Vaserstein and Dr. Irena Kofman. Ethan has been invited to perform on National TV.
