Featuring Pais with his quintet of five years - Chris Cheek on tenor and soprano sax, Ferenc Nemeth on drums, Leo Genovese on piano and Fender Rhodes, and Massimo Biolcati on bass - Not Afraid of Color features Pais' original music blending elements of American jazz with European classical music and pop.As trombonist Hal Crook says: "This is strong, exotic and compelling music played by a great band.
