Kristine Mills First Album

Featured in the ensemble are two veterans of the Duke Ellington Orchestra, drummer Rocky White and Barry Lee Hall, Jr., conductor/arranger and trumpet player for the DEO. The other members of the ensemble include Ken Ward on piano and David Craig on bass and Paul Chester on guitar, the players consistently seen performing with Kristines throughout Houston. The live recording that evening will serve as Kristine Mills first album. Andy Bradley of SugarHill Recording Studio will be on premises to direct the recording. Expect a very exciting night of jazz classics including those penned by Ellington, Porter and Gershwin. Hear Kristine's beautiful and lush renditions of Bossa Nova sung in Portuguese. Then get moving in your seat with rip-roaring, down-and-dirty blues sure to make you blush. An original song written by Kristine may be debuted that evening.
