| Nu Jazz Alliance Is Born Steve Weingart (Keyboards) , Frank Gambale (Guitar) , Tom Brechtlein (Drums) & Carlitos Del Puerto (Bass) announced “Nu Jazz Alliance” which previously performed under the name “the Steve Weingart Band” at recent shows in the LA area. A European tour is being planned for September 2007, together with a Nu Jazz Alliance CD release later this year. The nucleus of Nu Jazz Alliance was formed in Los Angeles, California in 2004 for the recording of Steve Weingart's “Dark Blue Dream” [Skeewa Music, 2006].
