Jack Zorawski Releases First Train

Jazz bassist, composer and leader Jack Zorawski releases his first CD of original compositions - First Train, fulfilling a desire to express a musical palette that is his own. The CD is a compilation of eleven of Jack's original compositions partially influenced by nature and train travel.

First Train is currently enjoying heavy rotation on the play lists of JAZZ FM 91, Radio Luxembourg and stations in Portugal and Japan and is also seeing good sales in Canada, Europe, Japan and New Zealand.

Jack has been an “in demand” bassist on the Toronto jazz scene since 1986, playing with such jazz luminaries as Bernie Senensky, Norman Marshall Villenueve, Peter Appleyard, Jake Langely, Big Rude Jake and many others. He has toured North America appearing in such venues as “The Fillmore” in San Francisco, “House of Blues” in Los Angeles and Chicago, and “CBGB” in New York City. Richard is well known in Toronto jazz venues, new music concerts, classical crossover groups and musical theatre. He has recorded with many musicians such as Don Thompson, Pat Labarbera and Jane Bunnett.
