| Last Call With Carson Daly Charlie Musselwhite will join Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals on NBC's "Last Call With Carson Daly" on Tues., Feb. 20. They will perform the song "Dressed In Black", which was included on the special first-run edition of Ben's latest album, "Both Sides of the Gun." Musselwhite (see photo), Harper and the Innocent Criminals first teamed up in the studio together along with John Lee Hooker on Hooker's Best Of Friends album. Then on Charlie's Sanctuary, Harper performed on both the title track and "Homeless Child." Since then these kindred spirits have played together numerous times including a three night run in Paris and sold-out performances in L.A. and New York City among others. You can also hear Charlie on the score to the new Samuel L. Jackson/ Justin Timberlake/Christina Ricci film "Black Snake Moan" where he plays alongside the North Mississippi Allstars. The film, which just debuted to critical praise at the Sundance Film Festival, was produced by Craig Brewer ("Hustle and Flow") and will be in theaters on March 2. And last, but by no means least, don't forget that Charlie and "Delta Hardware" have been nominated for five Blues Music Awards - Album of the Year, Instrumentalist – Harmonica, Song of the Year -Church is Out by Charlie Musselwhite, Traditional Blues Album of the Year and Traditional Blues -Male Artist of the Year.
