| Java Jazz Festival Java Jazz Festival, held for the third time this year, is one of the largest jazz events in the world.’ One thousand artists, from jazz and other musical genres, will be performing on 16 stages, for three consecutive days.’ After the first Java Jazz Festival in 2005, apparently more international artists contacted the committee, demanding to be invited to the next festivals.’ This year, Java Jazz Festival will feature Jamie Cullum, Austin Peralta, Eldar, Sergio Mendes, Ron Carter and Marcus Miller representing jazz from a wide stretch of generations.’ The presence of Japanese jazz musicians, from the master, Sadao Watanabe, to the following generation which boats Kimiko Itoh, Lisa Ono, Koji Goto and Yosuke Onuma, verify Japan and Indonesia’s fine relationship.
