Warclub to Release Sophomore Album

Warclub is a political and socially concious hip hop group. The group, based in LA by way of Philly, consists of two members whose Native & Afro-American bi-ethnic backgrounds motivate and inspire their hot, in-your-face lyrics.

Ryakin Rip (Meherrin/Afro-American) is an accomplished producer and lyricist whose flow is strong and forceful. Ryme Hawk's (Shinnecock/Afro-American) whose flow is smooth and precise is an accomplished lyricist in his own right. Both styles combine and blend nicely on their sophomore album, The Art of Warclub Reloaded available Feb. 27 2007, and give birth to lyrics that make you think and gets your emotions working.

A warclub is a traditional weapon used for battle by various Native American tribes. This hip hop duo's music prepares their soldiers for battle by lyrically attacking and shinning a light on the corrupt government and politicians, those in the community who profit from harming their neighbors, and by never letting us forget about the political prisoners and those who have been wrongfully incarcerated.

Never ones to put forth mindless repetitive flows about cars, rims, money, jewels, and girls, expect Warclub's music to low and play seamlessly next to other concious rappers like Dead Prez, Talib Kweli, Common, Hi Tech, and Immortal Technique.
