| Hendrik Meurkens at J&R Brazilian jazz artist Hendrik Meurkens will perform songs from his latest release, New York Samba Jazz Quintet and sign autographs at J&R Music and Computer World, NYC on Tuesday, February 20. WBGO Jazz 88.3FM will broadcast live from J&R. Hendrik Meurkens' new ZOHO recording, New York Samba Jazz Quintet, features the harmonica virtuoso on the Bossa Nova, Samba and the Choro. Meurken penned four of the nine tracks for the Quintet which also includes pianist Helio Alves, bassist Gustavo Amarante, flutist Jed Levy, and drummer Adriano Santos. This unique amalgam of musicians and the music they play that have put Hendrik Meurkens and his group at the forefront of Brazilian Jazz.
