Brian McKnight Opened Personal BurnLounge Store

BurnLounge, the world's first fan-driven digital download service, announced today that Grammy-nominated R&B/soul singer and songwriter Brian McKnight opened his personal BurnLounge Store, delivering access to his acclaimed catalog of albums, including his current release, "Ten."

BurnLounge is a fan-driven digital download service that taps the power of the personal referral from passionate music and entertainment fans. With the BurnLounge platform, artists and fans can participate in the music and entertainment industry by creating and managing their own online digital download stores. Music fans, musicians, DJ's, and artists can share their passions and personal tastes in their own download Store, while receiving a percentage of the sales.

"By opening my own BurnLounge and making my music available through the BurnLounge community, I'm able to put the power of promotion into the hands of my fans and reach a much broader audience of passionate music lovers", said Brian McKnight.

Selling 16 million albums since his self-titled debut in 1991, Brian McKnight is recognized for having defined the true meaning of American soul man. Brian, like his spiritual Motown godfathers, has a velvety voice and silky style that captures the vibe of vintage soul. This blend can be clearly heard on his latest disc, "Ten", on new label, Warner Bros Records. Brother Claude McKnight, of 10-time Grammy Award-winning group Take 6, introduced Brian to BurnLounge one month after having launched his own store to promote the release of Take 6's latest album, "Feels Good." Brian joins many platinum-selling artists in becoming a member of the BurnLounge community by launching their own BurnLounge Stores, including Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, KISS, the Elvis Presley Estate, Willie Nelson, Danica Patrick, and many more.

"Brian, like his brother Claude, recognized the future of music is digital and sees BurnLounge as a new channel to reach his fans in a more meaningful way", said Alex Arnold, co-founder, chairman and chief executive officer. "We designed BurnLounge so that artists such as Brian have an outlet for not only distributing music but also deepening their relationship with their fans."
