| Ivory Coast's Sur-Choc release FIFA Street track to the web Sur-Choc, one of the creators of the Zouglou style of music, has re-released their 2004 album "Magnum" given the continued interest in the track "Fou Ho". When the makers of the Fifa Street game were looking for a track to represent Ivory Coast for the game they quickly fell for the rough and ready feel of "Fou Ho" as it matched the rough gameplay of the game itself. Fifa Street went on to become a series, and Sur-Choc continued playing in West Africa and France. The success of the track came as a surprise to them - albeit a pleasant one. "Magnum" is currently available in a wide number of online stores such as iTunes, SonyConnect, Napster, Virgin Digital and MusicGremlin. The Zouglou style, meanwhile, has gone from strength to strength with the runaway success of Magic System in Europe. Sur-Choc are currently preparing their 9th album for the label Showbiz. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Jazz News :: home page |
