| Carlos Santana/Wayne Shorter Band - Live In Montreux In 1987 Grammy award winning superstar Carlos Santana and one of Jazz's leading figures Wayne Shorter formed the Carlos Santana/Wayne Shorter Band, comprising of a range of musicians with hundreds of hit records between them. The following year they took the band on tour and played to sell out audiences all over the world. Their tour culminated in this legendary performance, recorded at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1998 and captured here for the first time on DVD. Liberation Entertainment will release 'Live In Montreux' on 26th February 2007 as a single disc DVD, two disc CD album and for the fans who have to have everything, DVD and double disc CD pack. Lasting over two hours, Santana's marathon performance at the 32nd Montreux Jazz Festival was considered to be the live performance of the year, and he was up against strong competition. Bob Dylan, Phil Collins, Buddy Guy and B.B. King, plus a reunion gig from Herbie Hancock and The Headhunters, represent just a handful of the stellar musicians who turned out to perform and entertain.
