Atif Aslam's Debut Album 'Doorie' on Tips

Atif Aslam, the popular playback singer, is releasing his debut album 'Doorie' on Tips. He is one of the most sought after artist today after three Bollywood super hits like 'Woh Lamhe' in Zeher, 'Aadat' in Kalyug and 'Tere Bin' in Bas Ek Pal. 'Doorie' is destined to become one of the biggest albums of 2007.

The voice of Atif Aslam in 'Woh Lamhe' created such a impression on Kumar Taurani - Chairman and Managing Director of Tips Industries Limited that he could not resist having Atif on his artist rooster. Atif Aslam's 'Doorie' is a collection of 18 tracks of which 9 are remixes. The album is a blend of rock, fusion and soul stirring melodies. Atif Aslam has composed and produced 3 tracks 'Ehsaas', 'Mahi Ve' and 'Yakeen' in the album. The album will also be promoted with four music videos.

Sachin Gupta a young dynamic musician who has traveled with his fusion band all over the world makes his debut as a Composer and Producer of 6 tracks of the 9 original tracks which includes the title track 'Doorie'. Sachin has already bagged projects with major artists like Apache Indian, Ahmed Jehanzeb and Alisha Chinai. He has even written the lyrics of the title track 'Doorie'. Sachin's style of music embraces world music largely, one can also notice a fusion of Rock and Pop genre of music. Sachin says that his musical inclination is about having the right attitude in his compositions and all his music reflects his life experiences.

The track 'Kuch is Tarah' is produced by Mithoon and has lyrics by Sayeed Quadri - the combination which has given the earlier hits 'Woh Lamhe', 'Aadat' and 'Tere Bin'.

The lyrics are by Sameer, Sayeed Quadri, Sachin Paul and Sachin Gupta. The 9 Remixes are produced by leading DJ's in the club circuit like DJ Akbar Sami, Goldie and DJ Freak.
