| Israel Houghton at the National Inspirational Youth Convention December 29, 2006 Gospel superstar, Israel Houghton brought his "new breed" of cross-cultural, worship to Orlando, Florida as the headlining Gospel performance during the 2006 National Inspirational Youth Convention, one of the country's most powerful, Christian youth conferences. This year's convention themed, "Empowering a Royal Remnant", took place from December 27th through December 30, 2006. The event features workshops and keynote speakers who energize young people to live an empowered, Christian life. The messages and music remind them of encouraging Biblical truths, as well as the rewards of resisting negative influences.
