| Devine Entertainment will distribute Marsalis On Music series Devine Entertainment Corporation announced that they have completed an exclusive distribution agreement with SONY BMG Music Entertainment to distribute SONY BMG's acclaimed Marsalis On Music series. Devine will distribute the series on DVD into the educational, institutional and specialty retail trade throughout the USA, Canada and Mexico commencing March 2007. Marsalis On Music is a four part series starring multiple Grammy Award winner Wynton Marsalis, supported by fellow multiple Grammy winner cellist Yo Yo Ma, noted conductor Seiji Ozawa and featuring Wynton Marsalis's Jazz Orchestra and the student orchestra of The Tanglewood Music Center. In the series, Marsalis explains and illustrates music fundamentals to middle school children, touching on curriculum mandated musical concepts like form, rhythm, harmony, musical communication and proper practice techniques. A Peabody Award winner and Emmy nominee, this will mark the series' DVD debut. Glenn Sernyk, Devine's Marketing Director, notes, "We spoke about the series directly with many Middle School music teachers at the recent National Middle School Association trade show and convention and learned that the series was very well known and highly regarded." The series will be available as a four DVD boxed set, carrying a suggested retail price of $84.95. Devine's educational, institutional and specialty distribution account base includes all of the major resellers to those trade channels, including Hal Leonard Corporation, McGraw Hill, School Specialty, Baker & Taylor, Library Video and a host of others.
