Iko Iko Brings Their Blues To Florida

Little Silver Records announced that award-winning performers, Graham Wood Drout & Iko-Iko, are appearing Saturday, December 16, 2006 in Jupiter, Florida with their signature brand of Rock, Blues and Soulful Swampadelic music at the only Blues venue in Jupiter, the newly re-opened and remodeled Blue Note Cafe. Highlighting his more than 25-year career, Graham Wood Drout & Iko-Iko's work has received multiple awards including both Best Blues Band and Songwriter of the Year from New Times Magazine and a Jammy Award for Best Blues Band. Blues Revue Magazine described his music as "Soul filling ideas that flow out of [Drout's pen and into the heart of the listener...the result is breathtaking."

Artists of all genres cover Drout's songs and, most recently, Living Blues has The Bittersweet Sessions: Live and Acoustic in the top 20 CDs of the year. Drout currently has the #2 song on the Contemporary Blues Radio charts with Big Toe performed by Albert Castiglia on his release, A Stone's Throw, that is tied for second place as Blues CD of the Year on Sirius Radio networks. Joey Gilmore's recording of Drout's The Ghosts of Mississippi (featuring Drout performing on bass on the CD) won him the IBC award for Best Blues Performance 2006.
