| Sydney band Viva in a New Year The new year 2007 sees Viva the duo stepping up to a new level as part of a lavish Latin International Show production with their first appearance at the auditorium at one of Sydney's most popular venues, South Juniors Club at Kingsford, the show will be presented on the 12th and 13th January. Viva the Duo has experienced 2006 as one of their most successful years of performances. The duo performed at over 200 venues for the year, the highlight of the year was their performance at the Australian premiere of The Da Vinci Code. Viva the band have performed at many International Venues, recently at the Tainan International Chihsi Arts Festival and a return visit for a series of live concerts and television performances for the Kenting song Festival in Taiwan. This year Viva the band performed at a number of notable Jazz Festivals and events: at the Manly International Jazz Festival, the Thredbo Jazz Festival, Sydney Olympic Park, Darling Harbour, The Aroma festival at the Rocks in Sydney, Ferrogosto Italian Festival at Canada Bay, the Campsie Festival, Seaforth Centenary and a number of Council events at Warringah, Manly and Mosman. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Jazz News :: home page |
