| Peter Mayer's Free cOncert Central Pennsylvania College announced a free concert on Monday, December 11, 2006 by guitarist, vocalist and songwriter, Peter Mayer. A member of Jimmy Buffetts Coral Reefer Band, Mayer formed his own group called The Peter Mayer Group. His unique performance will be a blend of pop music from his Music Box release intertwined with excerpts from his Stars and Promises 2006 Christmas Concert. The performance will take place in the Scoozi Café located in the Conference Center of Central Pennsylvania College. Coffee will be available for purchase, along with Mayers CD and discounted student tickets to Mayers Stars and Promises 2006 Christmas Concert on Tuesday evening Trinity Lutheran Church, 2000 Chestnut Street in Camp Hill, PA. The concert to be held at Trinity Lutheran is part of a national tour in which Peter Mayer will take the message and songs of Stars and Promises across America as a seven-piece ensemble. This concert tour will travel from the Midwest, throughout New England, the Southeast, Colorado and Utah, with two stops in Pennsylvania, before ending in Nashville just before Christmas. The Peter Mayer Group boasts an extensive performing and songwriting portfolio experienced in any number of styles including jazz, country, folk and rock.
