| Jimmy Woode Award 2007 During the 6th edition of Tuscia In Jazz (EX Ronciglione Jazz Festival), the ACT Ronciglione Onlus Society, with the partnership of: Regione Lazio, Provincia di Viterbo, Comune di Soriano nel Cimino, Com. Montana dei Cimini, has organised the second edition of the Jimmy Woode Award, in memory of the great American double bass player. The award is for bands under 30 and the subscription is free. The bands that wish to take part to this award will have to send by the 30/04/2007 a copy of their CD or an audio recording with their CV or resume, to the following address: ACT Ronciglione; Leali Italo; Via Magenta 21; 01037 Ronciglione VT; ITALY. Participants must also send the subscription form with the names of all the components of the band with their birth date and address. Band members over 30 are admitted (n 1 per trio, n 2 per quartets or more). 14 Semi-finalists will be selected out of all the participants who will perform from the 15/07/2007 to the 21/07/2007 at the Tuscia Jazz. Between these, 8 Finalists will be selected and they will perform on the 24/07/2007. The finalists will be informed via email by the 30/05/2007. The winners will receive a plate and a prize of 1.000, 00.
