| The Goo Goo Dolls to Perform Benefit Concert in Cleveland The Goo Goo Dolls will perform a very special benefit concert at the House of Blues in Cleveland, OH on December 6th to raise money for the Rebecca Reichert Scholarship, which has been established at Ball State University. Reichert, a music educator who graduated from Ball State, was a personal friend of the band's drummer Mike Malinin. She died of cancer in October at the age of 24. Before her passing, Reichert created the scholarship in hopes of providing full tuition to music education majors. All proceeds will go directly to the family of Rebecca Reichert for her scholarship account. Please join us for this special and important event. The Goo Goo Dolls are currently on a major tour of the U.S. and Canada in support of their latest album "Let Love In." write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Jazz News :: home page |
