| Straight Ahead Jazz Is Alive And Well Mondays At Azalea's Azalea's has partnered with Dr. Bert Morgan & Eric DeWitt of Vertical Group Jazz to produce another Urban Jazz & Art Series. After a successful run this May at The Tribal Spears Gallery, the jazz promotion duo has returned with a combination of dynamic live musical performances by premier jazz musicians, and varied pieces of exhibited art work from new and upcoming visual artists. On Monday, October 30, 2006 the Urban Jazz & Art Series kicked-off at Azalea's. The evening was a fantastic cultural experience with a live jazz performance by Bill Lee, - Actor, Composer, Producer. Composer of films "Do The Right Thing", "Mo Better Blues". Mr. Lee's Trio opened the series with a collection of classic folk, jazz, suites. Throughout the evening a visual showcase of works from Fine Art artist; Christopher Cumberbatch. SERIES SCHEDULE: Monday, November 6th, 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Dave Gibson Quintet.
