| Dimitri Shapko at Babylon ![]() Dimitri is planning a unique musical set combining cool rare grooves and well-loved jazz standards from the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Chet Baker and Frank Sinatra. Dimitri, whose childhood was spent behind the iron curtain in Soviet Russia, first discovered jazz by listening to 'illegal' American radio stations. As a teenager he used jazz to liberate his soul from the repression of life under a communist regime.
