| Dominic Kirwan at the Broxbourne Civic Hall Dominic Kirwan will be returning to the Broxbourne Civic Hall on Thursday 9 November with his show 'A Little Bit More'. Dominic's fast-moving show caters for all musical tastes and he will be joined by special guest Colm Kirwan. Dominic has proved to be popular with all age groups with both his albums and his concert tours. Dominic grew up in Omagh and has been influenced by traditional Irish music and dancing. He still sets aside one weekend a year to perform to fans in his home town. Musically, Dominic fronted a variety of local bands including his own group, 'The Melody Boys'. The band's repertoire featured rock, pop, rhythm and blues, Irish ballads and country songs. It was the album 'On the Way to a dream' which gave him his first chart success, followed by the video, 'Dominic Kirwan In Concert'. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Jazz News :: home page |
