| Miranda Wilson takes Middays for Smooth Jazz Network Broadcast Architecture announced today that KKSF, San Francisco's Miranda Wilson will host their Smooth Jazz Network's nationally distributed Midday show beginning in January of 2007. Miranda joins Smooth Jazz Network evening host Annie Ashe and morning man and jazz legend Ramsey Lewis. Look for a major announcement regarding the network's Afternoon Drive show soon. Wilson Wilson said "Timing is everything! Who knew, we'd live in a time where people just crave an intimate experience with our music (smooth jazz) so much so that they'd listen to it on a cell phone or a pc because their favorite smooth jazz radio station is simply not there! Instead of sitting around asking where do we go from here? This is the right time for a smart idea like the Smooth Jazz Network! I am elated beyond words to be a part of this smart idea. Taking the show on the road! So, watch out! We're coming to a town near you!! I still have a paper resume! Most of my experience has been in Theatre - in groups like The Black Repertory in Berkeley and The San Shakespeare Festival...The two radio stations (no longer exist) I was Promotions Director for KSOL 89-90 Promotions, Public Affairs at heritage KDIA in 91. In 1992, I was floating in the bulrushes nestled in a basket when Steve Feinstein discovered me." write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Jazz News :: home page |
