| Manhattan Rhapsody: A Celebration of George Gershwin. On November 13, 2006 Jazz at Lincoln Center will celebrate the music of the great American composer George Gershwin at the organization's fall gala entitled Manhattan Rhapsody: A Celebration of George Gershwin. Hosted by CBS News Correspondent and Jazz at Lincoln Center Board member Ed Bradley, the concert will feature the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, the American Composers Orchestra, Patti Austin, Kitty Carlisle Hart, Michael Feinstein, Angela Lansbury, Marcus Roberts, Brian Stokes Mitchell and other special guests. The Fall Gala Chairmen are Victoria Moran Furman and Jay Furman, Rose-Lee and Keith Reinhard and Lillian Vernon The benefit will contribute to supporting the hundreds of performances and educational programs produced by Jazz at Lincoln Center this year.
