Jennifer Paige Sings New Alma Mater Anthem

American Sentinel University, an accredited online university, recently launched an alma mater anthem co-written and sung by internationally known singer Jennifer Paige. While most institutions rely on their in-house choirs to produce and sing their alma maters, American Sentinel, a leader in innovation, once again breaks the mold by having singer-songwriter Jennifer Paige involved in producing their alma mater.

Jennifer's single "Crush, " from her debut album, was a No.1 single in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Denmark, and several other countries. Her success continued to spread and she was nominated as Best New Artist at the World Music Awards. Her music often appears in TV shows and movies. She took time out of mixing tracks from her new album, including tracks laid down in Ibiza, Spain with renowned producer Torsten Stenzel.

"It was such a pleasure for me to put the skills I learned long ago in music theory classes to good use, " says Paige. "It isn't often in the mainstream pop radio world that you get the opportunity to arrange and record a choir of vocalists. I had a great time and am happy to be a part of something which inspires a person to increase their education and grow."

The alma mater anthem debuted at American Sentinel's recent commencement ceremony, held on the campus of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. "Jennifer recorded three different versions, " Oliver adds. "We are posting all three to our website asking our students to choose the one that will become the official version for the future. We will also make it available as a ringtone."
