Guitar Auction to Aid Special Olympics Virginia

Special Olympics Virginia and Innsbrook After Hours have teamed up for the third year to raise money for Special Olympics Virginia. Together they will raise funds to provide year-round opportunities for thousands of Special Olympics athletes in Virginia.

Since April 20, 2006, artists performing at this year's Innsbrook After Hours Concert Series have signed the Fender Stratocaster electric guitar in efforts to raise money for Special Olympics Virginia. Bidding is underway on innsbrookafterhours.com with persons placing bids before the auction ends on September 30.

Band members and artists who have signed or are scheduled to sign the Star Guitar include: Gov't Mule, Hootie & the Blowfish, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Sevendust, Little Feat, Nickel Creek, Moe, Melissa Ferrick, STYX, Blues Traveler, The Doobie Brothers, TOTO, Ashlee Simpson, Sara Evans, Big Head Todd & the Monsters, Toad the Wet Sprocket, The Wailers, Delbert McClinton, Switchfoot, Train, Rick Springfield, Dwight Yoakam, Jonny Lang, Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, Umphrey's McGee, Marc Broussard, Charlie Daniels Band, G. Love & Special Sauce, Foreigner, Trisha Yearwood & Fighting Gravity.

The concert series are held at the Innsbrook Pavilion, located at 4951 Lake Brook Drive in Glen Allen, Virginia. Sponsoring Star Guitar are Richmond Music Center, Seitz Technology, Spectrum Press and Photoworks Creative Group.
