Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola - October 2006

Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola continues its tradition of bringing in world-class jazz acts with the best view of any jazz club in New York City. The October lineup features vocalists, saxophonists, big bands and a little Latin taste. Plus, every Monday Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola presents the Northern Lights Jazz Series with jazz bands from Iceland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway.

Throughout October, the European Dream Festival will present vibrant, innovative, and cutting-edge productions in dance, theater, music, film, and literature from today's Europe of disappearing borders and expanding cultural diversity. Taking place at 20 New York City venues, the Festival is an unprecedented concerted effort by a great number of European countries, including new and aspiring members of the European Union. The Festival, slated to become an annual or biennial event, was initiated by the Goethe-Institut, the French Institute Alliance Française, the Italian Cultural Institute, and the Czech Center, all in New York, and is supported by the European Union.
