| Fund Raising Event for Minnesota sur Seine Music Festival The Minnesota sur Seine music festival is hosting a preview and fund raising event with the music of Jelloslave and DJ Pat Morita on Saturday, September 23 from 7:00 pm to Midnight at The Soap Factory in Minneapolis. The 2006 Minnesota sur Seine runs from October 12 to 22, 2006 at various Twin Cities locations, with over 15 performances by musicians from the Twin Cities, Europe and North Africa in styles including improvisational jazz, Celtic, hip hop, spoken word and rock. Jelloslave is a group that features the cello duo of Jacqueline Ferrier-Ultan and Michelle Kinney. Their music sings, screams, growls and purrs through a set that includes everything from Led Zeppelin to Bach. Featured in the August issue of Minnesota Monthly, Jelloslave's exhilarating passion is getting a lot of attention. DJ Pat Morita the alter ego of a great bass player spinning as a turntablist. Known for filling dance floors. The event is co-sponsored by L'etoile Magazine, a Twin Cities art, culture and fashion quarterly.
