Nadine Goellner CD Release Party

Nadine Goellner is releasing the first-ever live recording done at Mo Pitkin's House of Satisfaction, the new East Village club that has fast become a favorite night-spot and performance space. The official CD release party is Friday, September 8th at Mo Pitkin's and will feature vocalist/guitarist Nadine Goellner and her quartet, a stellar line-up of some of downtown's finest jazz/pop players, including Anna Dagmar on piano, Bob Hart on bass, and Allison Miller on drums.

The new live CD comes from a recording of a sold-out concert by Nadine and her ensemble at Mo Pitkin's in March 2006. The CD features 5 previously unreleased songs written by Nadine, including the buzz- making crowd favorite "Starry Night, " along with new improvisational arrangements of songs from her critically-acclaimed studio CDs Sing It to Me Anyway and Remember My Name. The September 8th CD release party kicks off a month-long residency to celebrate the new live CD. Shows will follow every Friday in September and will feature special guests, including guitarist Marc Von Em (Rob Thomas, Jewel) on Sept 15 and Brooklyn singer/songwriter Ryan Scott on Sept 22.
