Gramafest 2006

Award winning Jazz, Hip/Hop, Latin, R&B, Gospel musicians and others will take Irvine by storm as they come to the aid of Single Parent Families. On Sept. 30, 2006, Gramafest 2006 features an unprecedented gathering of the hottest groups in Southern California.

Jazz great Dan Siegel headlines this event along with the soulful sounds of DW3 plus Dr. Bombay & the Blue Machine, with the award winning Hip/Hop Gospel artists Mista&Mrs.Taylor. Humo Verde and Cafe Fuego heat up the afternoon with Salsa and Latin R&B. Hip/Hop dancers A&E Choreography, just off tour with Madonna, bring excitement to the stage. Expect off the hook performances from the TJ Hudson Quintet, Irvine's own Wingman, the Christ Our Redeemer Choir, and Eileen Carey.

These artists are lending their talent to aid working, single parent families, an overlooked segment in our communities. The Gift of Joy Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization, provides a one-time, no strings attached, unexpected gift of relief in various ways: gift certificates for groceries, clothing, entertainment events; educational and financial support; housing; the gift of time and liberty to make choices.
