Anime Vegas Convention 2006 Announces Final Guests Line-Up

Three times a charm, Anime Vegas Convention is weeks away from launching its third annual event scheduled or September 2-4 2006 at the Cashman Center. The organization proudly announces the appearance of several members of the anime and music industry from Japan and the United States. This year Anime Vegas will debut its concert series showcasing the musical talents of Makiko Higuchi, Miami, Samurai Delicatessen, Stephanie Yanez & DJ Jinnai.

Makiko Higuchi - Songwriter/guitarist - Japan - Higuchi Makiko is no stranger to the Japanese music scene, having toured extensively throughout Japan and other Asian countries. Anime Vegas will be Higuchi Makiko's first appearance in the U.S. Her passionate songs have created many American fans and have consistently appeared in the JapanFiles.com Top 10. Wherever she plays audiences are captivated.

Miami - A two-girl electro pop duo - Japan - Since forming 3 years ago, the group has experienced a meteoric rise in the Japanese music world. Having recently played shows in the U.S, Taiwan, and Vietnam, Miami is poised to become one of Japan's greatest musical exports. The members, both named Ai, play electronic violins, samplers and perform mind-- blowing Japanese pop. Miami' style is cool, cute, fresh and crazy, and
nothing short of high-energy.

Samurai Delicatessen - Blues/Rock Band - Japan - Samurai Delicatessen has been making a name for themselves with their eclectic sound and wild live show. Fresh off the release of their new album "DIAMOND CITY" the band has been touring relentlessly in Japan. Band members Captain Kokoa (Lead Guitar), Yuda Takeaki (Voals), Tamiya Wataru (bass) and Taichi Tanabe (drums) are ready to explode in their first-ever U.S appearance at Anime Vegas.

Stephanie Yanez (aka SLY) - U.S. - Singer, Songwriter - Discovered music at the age of 5. A singer/songwriter, who was born to sing. Her love for music eventually led her to record four songs on Geneon's Anime Karaoke Collection, which included three songs recorded with I'VE, a Japan-based record label. Of course the CD Anime Karaoke Collection has the winning song that Stephanie Yanez performed at AX Idol 2004 "Ningyo Hime" from the top anime series Chobits! She has also worked with the anime company Broccoli! She made her debut as Rabi en Rose at Pacific Media Expo for the Voice acting/singing group DUP(Di Gi Charat). She is also working on the Collaboration "SLY" with Guitarist Full Metal Ninja (Random Ninjas)! Her unique voice has steadily gained fans of anime and music alike.

DJ Jinnai - Anime DJ & Music Producer - U.S. - Djing for 5 years and producing music for over a decade, Dj Jinnai interprets J-pop from a western music perspective without losing the sugar that makes J-pop pop. His remixes are a heavy handed blend of J-pop, Hip Hop, Drum & Bass, video game music, Electronica and 80s synth. Djing for years at Anime conventions and spinning sets on popular internet radio stations like Keiichi.net and Japan-A-Radio, Jinnai has built a loyal fan following while making a name for himself as a pioneer remixer. Jinnai has remixed many Kristine Sa songs - 3 of which appear on her new album "reBIRTH."
