| MOSS debuts on the West Coast Friday August 18th vocal quartet MOSS will make their first West Coast appearance. MOSS will be performing at Gianelli Square - a new, intimate listening room in Northridge, CA. MOSS is a meeting of some of New York's most talented and diverse jazz singers - Theo Bleckmann, Peter Eldridge, Lauren Kinhan and Kate McGarry. They unite their creative ideas and talents; presenting their original compositions and resetting them for four voices. You are likely to hear standards, poetry, original music and spontaneous improvisation under one umbrella. MOSS is about pushing beyond comfort zones and putting a fresh face to the collaborative spirit. Peter Eldridge and Lauren Kinhan are members of the Grammy award winning New York Voices and also have their own solo projects of evocative original music; Theo Bleckmann is one of the vocal magicians with Meredith Monk and his own genre-bending work; Kate McGarry has been gracing New Yorkers with her swinging soulful timbre for many years.
