On the 12th of August, the Rolling Stones, will be in Porto for a unique concert. Amidst the European digression, Mick Jagger's and Keith Richards's band will raise to the stage at the Dragão Stadium, to promote their most recent album, entitled "A Bigger Bang".

After more than 40 years in the music business, the Rolling Stones continue to be one of the best bands in the world. "A Bigger Bang" is the group's big reappearance, maintaining the historical partnership between the two composers Mick Jagger and Keith Richards that started a creative process last autumn, joining them later, Charlie Watts and Ron Wood.

Produced by Don Was and The Glimmer Twins, the new album (first studio work since Bridges to Babylon, in 1997), has 16 tracks of the best rock and blues, including "Streets of Love", the first international single, "Oh No, Not You Again", "The Place is Empty" and "Infamy" with Keith Richards on vocals.

The Rolling Stones where last in Portugal in 2003 on the 27th of September, for a concert that marked the opening of Coimbra's Municipal Stadium. Scheduled to start at 21h30, the concert will last for two and a half hours.

The Rolling Stones are an English rock group formed in Dartford, England, on the 25th of May in 1962. After the Beatles, they were the most important band of the so called British Invasion of the 60´s that added various English artists to the north-American charts.

Formed by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts, the band focused their sounds on blues. During a career that has lasted for more than 40 years, hits such as "Satisfaction", "Start me up", "Sympathy for the Devil", "Jumping Jack Flash", "Miss You", and "Angie" have made the Stones one of the most famous rock groups in the world.
