| Cormac Kenevey and the Phil Ware Trio in Galway ![]() His debut album, "This Is Living" is a result of his collaboration with highly respected UK pianist Phil Ware and his Trio with whom Kenevey has developed a working live group. The repertoire chosen for the project is embellished by the newly written horn arrangements by Ware. As well as a selection of personal favourites, the twelve track collection features original compositions by Kenevey including the lead track "Just a Day" which explores narration over vocal groove layering. The record boasts an accomplished production crew including Grammy award-winning mastering engineer, Bob Katz. The Galway Jazz Festival, will be held on the weekend of October 13 to 15 2006. Building on the success of the inaugural event in 2005 the Galway Jazz Festival programme for 2006 will feature a broad range of leading contemporary international, national and local jazz artists in concerts and workshop performances.
