| 'Sweet Rhythm' by the Michael Packer Blues Band The new CD 'Sweet Rhythm' by the Michael Packer Blues Band is now available at CDbaby and Tower Records. Recorded live at Sweet Rhythm a Greenwich Village Jazz landmark on February 1, 2006.The CD has already hit the Roots Music Report Blues Charts @ #31 for national radio airplay. The CD features Michael Packer, guitar-vocals who has recorded for Atlantic and RCA Records. David Maxwell on piano, who has performed with James Cotton, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, to name a few. Jimmy Vivino, guitarist from the Conan O'Brien Show. Blues Brother Lou Marini, Harmonica ace Felix Cabrera and the smoking rhythm section of Ed Jackson, King Bear and Nat Seeley. A party is scheduled Monday August 14th, 2006 in New York City at BB King's Blues Bar and Grille to celebrate the limited edition release of the recording. Michael's old friend George Thorogood is also performing that night at BB's on the main stage.
