| Lennie Gallant at Rendez Vous Rustico For the 13th consecutive year Lennie Gallant will perform at Rendez Vous Rustico on Sunday, July 30th. This prolific songwriter/performer has released 7 albums, which have won him a host of awards and nominations from both JUNOs and East Coast Music Awards. Over 30 artists have recorded Gallant's songs including Jimmy Buffett, who calls Gallant one of his favourite writers. He has also composed songs for theatre, television, documentaries and special events. His songs have appeared in feature films and on the hit series Dawson's Creek and Joan of Arcadia. He is considered one of Canada's best songwriters, both in English and French, and in the spring of 2004 the country's highest honour was bestowed on him when he was inducted into the Order of Canada for his contribution to Canadian culture. On his new album When We Get There, he takes the listener on "a literary and musical journey that never fails to surprise and intrigue." Reviews say this may be his best album yet!
