| Michele and the Midnight Blues Joins Undiscovered Artists! Michele and the Midnight Blues has recently signed through Kim Venturo, American Agent for Undiscovered Artists!. Michele and the Midnight Blues were born from weekly blues jams in Wilmington, NC. Actress Michele Seidman followed the jams through multiple locations and venues for a decade. By the year 2000 she felt strong enough to form a band and you guessed it, she found most of the players through blues jams including, Madison Bunting on guitar, Wayne Dean on Bass and Dane Britt or Tony Mallard on drums round out this up and coming blues band. They developed a rock 'n blues show with their original tunes and renditions of covers that has booked in bars, nightclubs and festivals around South Eastern North Carolina. They also do a storytelling show with their original songs and the stories behind them set to music. They have entertained crowds at the NC Azalea Festival, the Cape Fear Blues Festival, Celebrate the Arts Festival and more. The band won 1st place in the 2005 Cape Fear Blues Challenge which sent them to the 2006 IBC in Memphis. They won the Beat Wammies award for Best Self Produced CD in 2005 for Eyes set to Midnight, their latest CD. It sold out the first run in two weeks! Michele and the Midnight Blues have been called a vastly talented crew who are the perfect compliment to their singer and they love to perform and the press says it shows. Recently dubbed "Wildly popular in South Eastern, NC", Michele and the Midnight Blues can now be heard on many blues radio stations through the U.S. and in London, Paris and Dublin. In just a few months they went from an unknown band to one heard all over the world. Their web host reports visits from Spain, the Russian Federation, Canada, Hong Kong, Sweden, the European Union, Norway, Paris, Germany, Great Britain and more. CD's are starting to sell in Europe and around the states as fan mail arrives. Their song Better than I is getting airplay on rock and adult contemporary stations too. The cross over airplay has been a welcome surprise.
