The Troubadour Festival, Canada

Laurentian Bank announced that it will be the official presenter of the Troubadour Festival, a three-day jazz blow-out in the Trait-carre district of Charlesbourg, in the Quebec City region, from July 28 to 30, 2006.

Close to 6000 people are expected to attend this festive event, with the theme of Fiesta Latina, and catch electrifying shows, children's entertainment, world music and jazz, magnificent face painting and non-stop activities for people of all ages. The Bank hopes the public will turn out in large numbers at the Laurentian Bank Big Top, where visitors can dance to the music of Melao, a group of seven musicians of Colombian origin that serve up varied and enchanting rhythms, or get swept away by the jazz of Julie Leblanc or the Brazilian Jazz of Julie Cimon-Racine.

"We're very glad to be part of this Troubadour Festival for the third consecutive year. As a presenter of the event, we're proud to contribute to the development of this fine family activity in the Quebec City region, " says René Labrecque, assistant vice-president, Corporate Services at Laurentian Bank.

Events such as the festival are clearly in line with the family orientation of Laurentian Bank, that strongly supports activities where parents and children can share discoveries and enjoyment. The Bank is consistently trying to be more accessible and closer to families, in both its approach that values the client experience and in its search for excellence in providing services adapted to the needs of each customer.
