Jim Pearce's 'Prairie Dog Ballet’

Jim Pearce is an award winning pianist/composer/vocalist. His new CD Prairie Dog Ballet was recorded with Herman Burney (Acoustic Bass), Paul Fallat (Drums), Eric South (Saxophones (tenor, alto, ) flute), Joe Gransden (Trumpet), Raphael Pereira (Percussion) and Ken Gregory (Acoustic Guitar).

Prairie Dog Ballet is a sure fire follow up to Jim's last CD Washington Square Park which was a finalist in The Independent Music Awards for Jazz Album of the Year. Judges for that contest included Terence Blanchard, Norah Jones, Paquito D'Rivera and other industry leaders. Jim is also a previous winner in The John Lennon Songwriting Contest, The Great American Song Contest and others. And now Jim has won an "Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting Award" for the title track "Prairie Dog Ballet" in the 7th annual Great American Song Contest. Jim's two previous CD's have both charted at JazzWeek.
