| Los Pacaminos at the Broxbourne Civic Hall Los Pacaminos are performing as part of a special Tex-Mex evening at the Broxbourne Civic Hall in Broxbourne, England on Thursday 15 June. Los Pacaminos is led by well-known vocalist Paul Young, with the support of a band whose members have played with the 'Pretenders', 'Squeeze' and the 'Brian May Band'. Their music is a blend of the 'Mariachi' and 'Norteno' styles of Mexico and the country/blues sounds of South-Western America. The band plays the very best in Tex-Mex music from artists such as Ry Cooder, Los Lobos and Roy Orbison. The band is popular on the alternative country circuit and they have also performed at a number of different music venues and festivals. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Jazz News :: home page |
