Kool Launches Exciting New Talent Show

Robert 'Kool' Bell, leader of the legendary pop, jazz, hip-hop and rhythm and blues music band, Kool and the Gang, announced that he has formed a talent showcase forum for aspiring singers, rappers and models. The first show will be held at the Atlanta Sheraton, August 18th through 20th of this year.

Joining Kool in the extravaganza is spouse and co-founder Sakinah Bell, who has a background in modeling and clothing design. Their company, Star World Talent, Inc., will offer an opportunity for young entertainers and models to rub elbows with celebrities and other high profile people and to see first hand what it takes to succeed in the competitive fields of professional entertainment and modeling.

"Contestants will be judged on audience appeal, raw talent and determination to succeed as a professional entertainer or model, " said Sakinah Bell. "What Kool and I want to do is give something tangible back to our fans who have supported us over the years and to their kids. We also want to reach out to other aspiring talents who have the determination to succeed. So often young talents do not receive the proper training, advice or personal attention and grooming that is so important in the early stages of any successful entertainer or model's career."

"We are not trying to be another American Idol, " said Sakinah Bell. "Our version of a talent show is so much more than what the public has come to expect. We offer a comprehensive program that includes suggested lifestyle change and learning enrichment that can broaden contestants' horizons by getting them focused on what it takes to succeed in the real world. This level of personalized training can culminate in contestants developing realistic aspirations in the fields of entertainment and modeling and having the knowledge and inspiration to realize those dreams."

Star World Talent, Inc., headquartered in Montclair, New Jersey, will offer prizes to winning contestants that can help them get started on the road to their dreams. Each contestant will also receive a printed certificate of participation in the talent contest that Kool will personally sign. "On the final day of the show Sakinah and I will announce the donation of funds to a national, nonprofit charity that is actively benefiting kids and young adults throughout America, " said Kool.

"We're not concerned with being the biggest show in town, " said Sakinah Bell. "We want to be the best talent show forum for aspiring entertainers and models. Kool and I have both been successful in our respective fields. We have gone out and accomplished our goals. We want to help aspiring talents do the same."
