| Litchfield Jazz Camp Celebrating 10 years this summer, Litchfield Jazz Camp runs from July 9 through August 4. Litchfield Jazz Camp's Artistic Director is saxophonist Don Braden (composer for Bill Cosby projects), and its Resident Artists include Jimmy Green, Joe Magnarelli, John Benitez, Mario Pavone, Paul Bollenback, Winard Harper, Claire Daly and many others. Visiting guest artists include Dave Liebman and James Moody. Teacher affiliations include Berklee, New School, Juilliard, New England Conservatory, Manhattan, Peabody, and Hartt . Litchfield Jazz Camp welcomes students ages 13 up. The camp is held at the Forman School, in Litchfield, Connecticut. Students learn in an intensive but noncompetitive environment, in one- to four week courses. They work and perform in skill-matched combos at camp and at The Litchfield Jazz Festival (August 4 – 6). Instruction is offered on all major instruments and voice.
