| 'Derision' Secure New Drummer In a look toward the future of the band, Derision has parted ways with drummer Waylon Wilder, who was featured on 'The Fear', Derision's recent debut album. Chris Smith will be taking over drumming duties and looks forward to being a big part of the future of Derision. Texas based metal act, 'Derision', have parted ways with the drummer featured on their recent debut album "The Fear". Waylon Wilder had been with Derision for three years prior to taking his leave. "Waylon has a family to take care of now, and the band has to get on the road to push this album, " states Joshua Payne, bassist for the group. Taking over will be Chris Smith of Henderson, TX. Chris has been playing drums in the area for 10 years and looks forward to contributing to Derision.
