Star Sighting in Montgomery New Jersey

The Jazz Mentors Program in association with Berklee College of Music, and under the direction of Gary Anderson Grammy is launching it's first in a continuing series of Celebrity based teaching Clinics and Jazz Concerts that are open to the public on April 29th 2006 at the New State of the Art Montgomery High School.

Grammy award winning Mentors featured on our roster include Randy Brecker (trumpet) of the Brecker Brothers, and Peter Erskine (drums) formerly with Weather Report and currently Diana Kralls' drummer. Also featured are Lou" Blue Lou"Marini (Sax) of The Blue Brothers movie fame and Saturday Night Live, Gil Goldstein (piano) pianist for Gil Evans and Joe Lovano, Bob Sheppard (sax) touring member of Steely Dan and Dave Carpenter (bass) TV and Film, Los Angeles based, studio musician and Steve Cardenas (guitar) recently having toured with Norah Jones..

The Jazz Mentors Program will also offer a Recording Engineering and Live Sound Design Clinic, featuring three time Grammy Award winner Cynthia Daniels. This workshop will be limited to 10 students, so early enrollment is encouraged.
