| Syd Lawrence Orchestra at the Broxbourne Civic Hall On Sunday 21 May the 'Syd Lawrence Orchestra and Singers' will play at the Broxbourne Civic Hall. This big band swing orchestra is one of the most popular of its kind in Great Britain, combining a diverse range of swing, dance and jazz music with fun and comedy. The orchestra consists of a traditional band line up of trumpets, trombones, saxophones and a rhythm section with piano, bass and drums. It is accompanied by male and female vocalists and a harmony group.
