| Jazz Summer school in Rotterdam Just before the North Sea Jazz Festival, master classes by top jazz musicians like John Abercrombie (guitar), Adam Nussbaum (drums), Gary Willis (el. bass), Gerard Presencer (trumpet), Tommy Smith (saxophone), Harold Danko (piano), Hein Van de Geyn (double bass) and David Linx (vocals) will take place in Rotterdam July 8-13 2006. The master classes concentrate on playing jazz music with influences from all cultures. The master classes will culminate in the formation of various jazz ensembles (big band, jazz quintet, jazz choir, fusion ensemble) that are scheduled to perform at public venues throughout the city during the days leading up to the North Sea Jazz Festival.
