New Remixes of ’Alice in Wonderland’

Randell & Schippers' dance groove "Alice In Wonderland" is a recurrent hit at top clubs and record pools nationwide, and on the national DJ Times Dance Crossover Top 40 chart. The track's sensational success inspired hot programmer and music artist Allen Jeffrey, " to work his magic on a set of dazzling new remixes, just released on Denny Randell and Biddy Schippers' own Music Avenue Records/DRC Entertainment.

Certain to keep the song pumping for months to come, the "Alice In Wonderland" Remix Maxi CD single boasts seven remixes and five short versions, including Latin and urban flavored takes on the "camp and zany meets romantic and dreamy" track, all courtesy of Jeffrey's renowned turntable artistry. The trippy narrative and elastic beat driving "Alice" soar to new heights via the maxi-single's bold sonic reinventions, already "Pick Hits" at trendsetter dance pools For The Record (NYC) and Flamingo (Miami).

The wildly unique song is the brainchild of writing, performing and recording duo Denny Randell and Biddy Schippers, whose collaboration dates back to the mid-'80s when they met in Los Angeles. Their past hits include "Let's Go For It" and "Love Jam, " which the U.K.'s Blues & Soul Magazine called, "Quite simply, a modern masterpiece." "Alice In Wonderland" has also just come on line at the iTunes Music Store, with two different versions available for download.

As "Alice" triumphs, Denny Randell and Biddy Schippers have returned full time to L.A. (after several years of bicoastal operations), where they have opened new headquarters for Music Avenue Records/DRC Entertainment. Through their jointly run company, they write and produce for Randell & Schippers -- a new album is in the works -- and for a diverse collective of artists including chart-busting dance chart diva Alyson and R&B/crossover vocal group Soul Tempo.

Denny Randell first rose to fame over four decades ago as songwriter for a number of now-immortal hits including several by Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, and Denny's compositions "Working' My Way Back To You, " "Opus 17" and "Let's Hang On (To What We've Got)" are currently heard in the smash Broadway musical "Jersey Boys: The Story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons." Randell's classics for the Seasons, along with his many other unforgettable songs including "A Lover's Concerto" and "Native New Yorker, " will be featured in an upcoming live show he's developing with Schippers that spotlights his remarkable musical legacy.

Randell and Schippers are also nearing completion on "Posthumously Yours, " their original musical about a fading music superstar who fakes his own demise. Randell and Schippers' aim is to have their outrageous riff on pop culture's tendency to make many stars bigger in death than in life follow "Jersey Boys" onto the Great White Way. In the meantime, they're all Cheshire cat grins with the giddy success of "Alice In Wonderland, " on iTunes and at dance hotspots nationwide.
