The Fray: Great Summer Tour

Epic Records artist The Fray hits the road this summer on a headline tour. The Denver-based band, named House of Blues Artist of the Month for June, is experiencing an unprecedented amount of fan support for their highly acclaimed major-label debut, How To Save A Life.

The tour begins in Indianapolis at the Egyptian Room on June 6, and spans the country before wrapping up at House of Blues Chicago in late July. Accompanying The Fray on the Xbox 360 tour will be Brandi Carlile on June shows, and Augustana on July shows.

The Fray has been named the Xbox Live Epic Records Artist of the Month for May. In addition, Xbox Live will provide the chance for lucky Fray devotees to play online games against band members in an upcoming Game With Fame event. Xbox Live is the only place where fans can play their favorite games online against favorite actors, bands and sports stars. Details regarding the Game With Fame event, local market ticket auctions and an exciting national sweepstakes auction are forthcoming.

Formed in 2002 by the band's chief songwriters -- vocalist and pianist, Isaac Slade and guitarist and vocalist, Joe King -- The Fray added guitarist Dave Welsh and drummer Ben Wysocki a year later. Before signing with Epic Records in 2004, The Fray earned a loyal grassroots following through touring and the support of local radio, which led a listener-driven campaign to get the band a record contract. The debut album, How To Save a Life, was met with rave reviews, earning a 3-star album review in both Rolling Stone and Paste Magazine, and is currently the #5 Album on iTunes. The Fray was #1 on Billboard's New Artist Chart twice before graduating to the top half of the Billboard Top 200. Recently, The Fray was named as a VH1 "You Oughta Know" artist and the single, "How To Save a Life, " was featured in an episode of the ABC hit show, Grey's Anatomy.
