Goo Goo Dolls' eighth album

Since forming in 1986 the Goo Goo Dolls: John Rzeznik, Robby Takac and Mike Malinin, are known as one of the hardest working bands in music today, and based on the upcoming events over the next several weeks, they look forward to cementing that reputation in solid fashion.

The main event will of course be the release of the Goo Goo Dolls' eighth album Let Love In, an album of hope, perspective and an open heart -- which features the anthemic hit "Better Days, " a rousing cover of "Give A Little Bit, " and the emotional new single "Stay With You."

Hitting the road this Wednesday (tomorrow) in support of Let Love In, the Goos will visit some 21 cities in a month, including Boston, Providence, Hartford, Cleveland, Green Bay, Chicago, St. Louis, Atlanta, Knoxville and New York in front of the album's April 25 release date. In those markets, the band will perform for fans, contest winners and the media as well as sit in on, and perform on various morning radio shows. It's a jam-packed schedule and a fan's dream come true as the band will be more accessible to them more than ever before.

In New York city, the band will spend the week of release doing radio visits, a VH1 performance and a multitude of television shows including "Regis & Kelly" (April 28), "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" (April 27) and "The Tony Danza Show" (May 3). The television bonanza for fans of the band actually kicks off on April 14 with a heart-warming performance on ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, " one of the network's highest-rated shows. In addition to the network performances, look for the band to make an appearance on CNN and other entertainment programming during the same time. Of special note in NYC is a show on April 24 at the Avalon Ballroom; it's a special performance for contest winners and lucky fans who are able to secure tickets in advance.

Following the weeklong stint in NYC, The Goos head to their hometown of Buffalo, NY for an in-store record signing and special evening live performance. Then it's off to Columbus, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Detroit, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Las Vegas to round out the promotional blitz, but not before spending some time in their adopted home base of Los Angeles.

When in Los Angeles, the band will perform a special engagement at the world famous Troubadour on Monday, May 15 for a select group of lucky fans. The following day they will perform on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." It's a landmark appearance of sorts, as the Goo Goo Dolls will then have appeared on the show a record 14 times! Additional network television performances are to be announced in May for the band, but that is nothing unusual for this, the hardest working band in show business.

The video for "Stay With You" will premiere on Yahoo! Music on April 13, adding to an already impressive list of digital achievements linked to Let Love In, which include over 550, 000 digital singles sold of both "Better Days" and "Give A Little Bit, " combined in the last several months leading up to the release of the album.

VH1, a long-time supporter of the band, has jumped into the mix with a Hear Music First campaign that runs April 18-24. During this time VH1.com will be the only place that you can hear the album in its entirety before the release date. Also, on the channel, look for the band to be featured in a "Celeb Reality Spin" on April 23 (during VH1's most highly rated Celeb Reality hour). The Goo Goo Dolls will also be guests on VH1's Top 20 Countdown that airs April 28th, and the "Stay With You" video will be in Gung Ho rotation the entire week of April 17. Gung Ho is VH1's highest rotation with 50 spins.
